Kadina Deeble Earns USTFCCCA All-America Honors in Women's 100-Meter Hurdles

NEWARK, N.J. – Essex County College sophomore Kadina Deeble has earned USTFCCCA All-America honors following her outstanding performance in the women's 100-meter hurdles at the 2026 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held May 14-16 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Deeble concluded an impressive season by competing among the nation's top junior college hurdlers on the national stage. Her performance at the NJCAA Division I Championships earned her recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), which honors the top performers in each event at the national meet. Athletes who finish among the top eight in their respective events receive USTFCCCA All-America distinction.

Representing Essex County College with distinction, Deeble recorded a seventh-place finish in the championship final of the women's 100-meter hurdles, posting a time of 13.71 seconds against one of the strongest fields in the NJCAA.

"Kadina's relentlessness and commitment throughout the season are what propelled her to compete at the national level," said Coach Berry. "Earning USTFCCCA All-America honors is an outstanding accomplishment and a reflection of the dedication and effort she has invested in her development as a student-athlete."

As a sophomore leader for the Wolverines, Deeble's success highlights the continued growth of the Essex County College women's track and field program. Her national recognition places her among the elite junior college athletes in the country and adds another significant achievement to the program.
