Essex Wolverines Women’s Soccer Concludes Season in Region 19 Semi-Final

West Windsor Township, NJ - The Essex Wolverines women's soccer team capped off their 2025 season with a hard-fought run to the Region 19 semi-final, where they fell 5–0 to a strong Mercer County Community College side. Despite the loss, the Wolverines showed tremendous growth and determination throughout the season, finishing with an overall record of 3–8–1.

This year's campaign was highlighted by several standout individual performances. Two Essex student-athletes earned First Team All-Region honors, recognizing their impact and consistency on the field. In addition, one Wolverine was named  Garden State Athletic Conference Division II Player of the Week, showcasing the program's continued ability to produce top-level talent.

Under the leadership of the coaching staff, the Wolverines battled through a challenging schedule, showing resilience and teamwork that laid a solid foundation for future success. With a young core of returning players and strong momentum heading into the offseason, the Essex women's soccer program looks poised to build on this year's accomplishments and continue competing at a high level in Region 19.
