Iddrish Musah wins 400m dash at Oscar Moore Invitational

The Wolverines made the most of ideal conditions on April 11th at the Oscar Moore Invitational, hosted by Rowan University, turning in a series of standout performances and personal bests on the track and in the field.
 
Leading the way on the track was Sanjay Weeks, who opened the meet with a strong showing in the 400m. Weeks clocked a personal-best time and surged to a third-place finish, setting the tone early for the Wolverines. Teammate Iddrish Musah delivered one of the top performances of the day, winning the 400m in an impressive 48.23. Musah wasn't done there, as he doubled back to take second place in the 200m with a time of 21.70.
 
The 400m proved to be a strength for the Wolverines, with Issah Abdul Rahaman also notching a personal best in 50.52, while Gideon Griffin added depth with a time of 52.74.
 
In the distance events, Matthew Grano turned in a strong effort in the 1500m, finishing second overall with a time of 4:06.23.
 
In the field, Nafew Mohammed continued his excellent season in the javelin, recording a throw of 65.90 meters (216' 2") to secure a second-place finish and cap off an impressive day for the Wolverines.
 
With multiple podium finishes, and personal bests across events, the Wolverines showed both depth and speed as they continue their outdoor season. The Wolverines will travel out of state this Thursday, April 16, to compete in the Lincoln University Invitational in Pennsylvania.
