Newark, NJ | Essex County College's men's soccer team delivered a commanding performance on the road, defeating Raritan Valley Community College 5–1 on Wednesday afternoon.

Raritan Valley struck first when a team goal in the opening minute put the Lions up 1–0. But Essex County quickly regrouped and took control of the match, scoring five unanswered goals before halftime.

Sophomore Milomir Cvoric led the offensive surge with two goals — the first coming unassisted in the 28th minute to tie the game, and another in the 40th minute off an assist from Jairo Morocho to extend Essex's lead.

Nikolaj Crnovcic, Roland Kabore, and Kristijan Penic each added goals to complete a dominant first half for Essex, with assists credited to Niklas Petz and Soloman Paintsil.

Goalkeeper Schneider Barron anchored the defense for Essex, recording three saves and conceding just one goal in a full 90 minutes of play. Essex controlled possession throughout, earning 15 corner kicks to Raritan Valley's none and maintaining a relentless offensive pace.

The win marks another strong outing for Essex County, who showed depth, creativity, and resilience after conceding early.
