Dreist and Penic Led the Attack for the Wolverines

Newark, NJ | Essex CC dominated the match from start to finish, putting up a strong offensive showing and taking full advantage of their scoring chances. Dutchess CC, while managing to get on the board, were largely on the back foot for most of the game. 

The Wolverines struck first in the first minute of the game and didn't slow down from there. Kristijan Penic and Noel Dreist both lead the team with 3 goals apiece. Dreist added to his 3 goals with 3 assists, while Penic tallied 1 assist on the day. Roland Kabore contributed with 3 shots, 3 on goal, scoring once and adding an assist. Alexandre Faiteson added to the attack with 1 shot, 2 on goal, and got on the scoresheet with a his first collegiate goal and assist. 

The Dutchess keeper, Adrian Ashong, was busy all game, making 13 saves on 22 shots faced. On Essex's side Schneider Barron faced only minimal danger - 1 shot and 1 save for him, the overall defense in front of him held firm for most of the game. 

The Wolverines return to action Thursday evening when they travel to Union College to take on the Owls.
